In our latest edition of Pedal Tricks, we’re going where few pedal videos have gone before: the world of the baritone sax. Sax-noise guru Jonah Parzen-Johnson walks us through his setup which takes a mic’d signal from his sax and runs it through a Dave Smith Instruments Mopho synth, a Moog Moogerfooger Freq Box and a few other pedals. The result is a set of swelling, rhythmic soundscapes that further the reputation of the sax as one of the most versatile horns in the world.
